Morton International, Inc. Files Petition to Amend Food Additive Regulations for Methyltin-2-mercaptoethyloleate Sulfide Mixtures

The FDA has announced that Morton International, Inc. has submitted a proposal to update food additive regulations to allow the safe use of methyltin-2-mercaptoethyloleate sulfide mixtures as heat stabilizers in PVC pipes used for transporting water intended for human consumption.
