FDA Amends Bottled Water Quality Standards to Include 9 Inorganic and 26 Synthetic Organic Chemicals

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has updated its quality regulations for bottled water to set limits for 9 inorganic chemicals, 26 synthetic organic chemicals, and 14 pesticides, but has delayed adopting EPA's maximum contaminant levels for certain pesticides and asbestos due to ongoing review.
