FDA and NIH Host Public Forum on Informed Consent in Emergency Clinical Research

The FDA and NIH are co-sponsoring a public meeting to gather information and solicit views on informed consent requirements in emergency clinical research, where obtaining consent is not possible, such as testing experimental therapies for individuals in life-threatening circumstances.
