U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Proposes to List Arkansas River Shiner as Endangered Species

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service proposes to list the Arkansas River basin population of the Arkansas River shiner as an endangered species due to habitat destruction and modification, as well as incidental capture and competition with the introduced Red River shiner.
