Navajo Unit, Colorado River Storage Project, Colorado-New Mexico

Pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act and agency policy, the Bureau of Reclamation, in cooperation with the Public Service Company of New Mexico, will conduct three environmental scoping meetings on the proposal to renew/extend Public Service Company of New Mexico's water service contract. The three meetings will be held to obtain information for use in determining the scope of environmental issues and impacts related to the proposed action. The meetings will also be held to receive information concerning potential effects of the contract renewal/extension on assets held in trust by the Federal government for Federally recognized Indian tribes or individual members of Federally recognized Indian tribes.
