Bureau of Land Management Closes Public Lands in South Fork of Walla Walla River ACEC for Environmental Protection and Public Safety

The Bureau of Land Management has issued emergency closure and restriction orders on approximately 1,955 acres of public land in the South Fork of the Walla Walla River ACEC in Oregon to prevent further environmental deterioration and ensure public safety, limiting motorized vehicle travel and prohibiting overnight camping and firearm discharge.
