Kansas Permanent Regulatory Program

OSM is announcing the withdrawal of a proposed amendment to the Kansas permanent regulatory program (hereinafter, the ``Kansas program'') under the surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (SMCRA). The proposed amendment pertains to the Kansas Revegetation Success Guidelines. Kansas is withdrawing this amendment because it needs more time to research the issues and plans to resubmit a formal amendment at a later date.
