US Fish and Wildlife Service to Develop Regulations for Polar Bear Trophy Importation Under 1994 Marine Mammal Protection Act Amendments

The US Fish and Wildlife Service is working to implement new provisions of the 1994 Marine Mammal Protection Act, allowing for the importation of polar bear trophies taken in Canada, and will begin accepting applications in early 1995 after completing the permit rulemaking process.
