Revised Statute 2477 Rights-of-Way

A proposed rule to implement Revised Statue 2477 addressing rights-of-way across lands now administered by the Bureau of Land Management, the National Park Service, and the Fish and Wildlife Service was published in the Federal Register on August 1, 1994 (59 FR 39216), with a 60-day comment period expiring September 30, 1994. The comment period was extended until November 15, 1994, in response to public request by a notice published in the Federal Register on September 13, 1994 (59 FR 46952). In response to additional public requests, the comment period is being reopened for an additional 60 days.
