Saab Model SF340A and SAAB 340B Series Airplanes: New Airworthiness Directive to Address Main Landing Gear Issues

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive (AD) for Saab Model SF340A and SAAB 340B series airplanes to address issues with the main landing gear (MLG) retract actuator bracket retaining bolts, which have been causing extension and retraction problems due to loose brackets on the MLG shock struts.
