Eurocopter Deutschland GmbH Proposes Airworthiness Directive for MBB-BK 117 Series Helicopters

Eurocopter Deutschland GmbH is proposing a new airworthiness directive to modify the latches on transmission and engine cowlings access doors on its MBB-BK 117 series helicopters, following five incidents where these doors became loose in flight, posing a risk of loss of control.
