FRA Extends Comment Period on Proposed Rulemaking for Freight Car Safety Standards

The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) is extending the comment period on its proposed rulemaking to amend the Freight Car Safety Standards, allowing more time for stakeholders to provide feedback on the changes, which include making all maintenance-of-way vehicles subject to the standards, with some exceptions.
