The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued special conditions for Fokker Model F28 Mark 0070 airplanes manufactured by Fokker Aircraft B.V. of Schiphol, Netherlands, to ensure the protection of critical electronic systems from the effects of high-intensity radiated fields (HIRF).
