Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. Issues Airworthiness Directive Amendment for Certain Helicopter Models

The amendment updates the inspection requirements for tail rotor drive shafts and bearings on Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. military helicopters, including the UH-1A, UH-1B, UH-1E, UH-1F, UH-1H, UH-1L, TH-1F, and TH-1L models, to prevent bearing failure and loss of control, and applies to the recently type-certified UH-1P and TH-1F models.
