FAA Revises Airworthiness Directive for Certain McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Models
The FAA has revised an airworthiness directive for certain McDonnell Douglas aircraft models, including the MD-11, DC-10, and KC-10A, to remove the requirement for repetitive reporting of test results after correcting electrical connector installations. The change aims to prevent unnecessary shutdowns of engine-driven generators in the event of an engine fire or severe damage.
