Airbus Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for A300 and A300-600 Series Airplanes

Airbus is proposing a new airworthiness directive to modify the fuel tank jettison system on certain A300 and A300-600 series airplanes, following a quality survey that found insufficient protection from lightning strikes, in order to prevent electrical arcing and fires.
