Airbus to Modify A320-111, -211, and -231 Airplanes to Improve Airworthiness

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has adopted a new airworthiness directive requiring the modification of one-stage shock absorbers on Airbus Model A320-111, -211, and -231 airplanes to two-stage shock absorbers in order to prevent delays in sensing the airplane's position on the ground during landing in adverse weather conditions.
