Nissan Granted Exemption from Vehicle Theft Prevention Standard for High-Theft Car Line

The US agency has granted Nissan's petition to exempt a high-theft car line from parts marking requirements, deeming an antitheft device as effective as compliance in reducing motor vehicle theft.
