FAA Issues Airworthiness Directive for Short Brothers Model SD3-60 Series Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has adopted a new airworthiness directive requiring the installation of a time delay relay and associated wiring on certain Short Brothers Model SD3-60 series airplanes to prevent premature engagement of the rudder gust lock, which can lead to reduced airplane control during flight and landing.
