Alteration of Jet Routes; LA

This rule realigns five jet routes located in Louisiana. The New Orleans Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Range/Tactical Air Navigation (VORTAC) facility will be decommissioned because the platform on which it is located is deteriorating. As a result, the Harvey, LA, VORTAC will be upgraded to a high class navigational aid and the five jet routes will be realigned to use the Harvey, LA, VORTAC. This action will enhance air traffic procedures and accommodate concerns of airspace users.

Airworthiness Directives; Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. Airplanes

The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Pilatus Aircraft Ltd. (Pilatus) Model PC-24 airplanes. This AD was prompted by a report that a solid-state relay (SSR) used in the left-hand (LH) windshield heating system may allow reverse current flow when in the OFF position. This AD requires modification of the airplane and replacement of the affected SSR with a serviceable part. The FAA is issuing this AD to address the unsafe condition on these products.
