FAA Approves Lake Tahoe Airport Noise Compatibility Program

The Federal Aviation Administration has approved the Lake Tahoe Airport noise compatibility program, following a review of the City of South Lake Tahoe's submissions under the Aviation Safety and Noise Abatement Act of 1979. The program, which was approved on November 14, 1994, addresses federal and nonfederal responsibilities related to noise abatement at the airport.
