Boise River Wildfire Recovery Project to Assess Timber Value and Regeneration on Idaho National Forest
The Boise National Forest plans to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement to salvage the economic value of fire-killed trees and promote regeneration on 95,000 acres of forested areas, with a focus on maintaining hydrologic conditions and protecting soil productivity, following the 1994 Rabbit Creek, Bannock Creek, and Star Gulch Wildfires.
