Forest Service to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Emigrant Wilderness Management Proposal

The US Forest Service will prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) in response to a proposal to revise the management direction of the 113,000-acre Emigrant Wilderness on the Summit Ranger District in the Stanislaus National Forest, Tuolumne County, California.
