Additional Public Scoping Meetings; Preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to Clean Out and Deactivate the Hanford, Washington Plutonium Finishing Plant (PFP) Complex (Except for Storage Areas), to Stabilize PFP Plutonium-Bearing Materials and to Store the Stabilized Material

The Department of Energy (DOE) announced its intent to prepare an EIS pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA) in the Thursday, October 27, 1994, Federal Register (Volume 59, No. 207, Page 53969). This announcement adds two Public Scoping Meetings to the series of public meetings announced previously.
