FERC Adopts Policy on Reserved Authority for Hydropower Licenses to Address Cumulative Impacts

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission is issuing a policy statement to clarify its approach to addressing cumulative environmental impacts of hydropower projects in the same river basin, allowing for the use of reserved authority to address these impacts at a later date.
