Allowances Received by Members of the Armed Forces in Connection With Moves to New Permanent Duty Stations

The Internal Revenue Service has issued temporary regulations to exclude certain allowances received by members of the Armed Forces from gross income when relocating to new permanent duty stations, due to changes made by the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993.
