NOAA Proposes to Issue Exploration License for Deep Seabed Mining in USA-4 Site

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) proposes to issue an exploration license to Ocean Minerals Company (OMCO) for deep seabed mining activities in the USA-4 site, subject to terms, conditions, and restrictions, following a public review process and the completion of a Draft Environmental Impact Statement.
