NMFS Issues Technical Amendment to Clarify Sablefish Hook-and-Line Gear Prohibition in Gulf of Alaska

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has issued a technical amendment to clarify regulations that prohibit vessels from participating in the Gulf of Alaska directed sablefish hook-and-line gear fishery if they deployed hook-and-line gear within 72 hours of the fishery's opening.
