NMFS Prohibits Pollock Fishing in Gulf of Alaska
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has prohibited directed fishing for pollock in the Gulf of Alaska due to the risk of exceeding the 1994 total allowable catch limit in Statistical Area 62.
