Rule Concerning Disclosures of Energy Consumption and Water Use Information About Certain Home Appliances and Other Products Required Under the Energy Policy and Conservation Act

The Energy and Water Use Rule requires labels on refrigerators, refrigerator-freezers, and freezers to display a range of energy costs or efficiencies, with new range figures published for use on labels and in advertising starting April 12, 1994.
