American Institute of Habit Control, Inc., et al. Agree to Settlement Over Prohibited Trade Practices

A Florida-based company and its president have agreed to a settlement, prohibiting them from making unsubstantiated claims about smoking cessation and weight loss programs, and from misrepresenting the effectiveness of hypnosis as a smoking cessation method, as stated in the 1989 Surgeon General's report.
