FTC Expands Appliance Labeling Rule to Include Pool Heaters, Instantaneous Water Heaters, and Heat Pump Water Heaters

The Federal Trade Commission has added pool heaters, instantaneous water heaters, and heat pump water heaters to the list of products covered by its Appliance Labeling Rule, following amendments to the Energy Policy and Conservation Act and final test procedures from the Department of Energy.
