CFTC and SEC Adopt New Rules for Security Futures on Debt Securities

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission and the Securities and Exchange Commission are adopting new rules to allow security futures to be based on individual debt securities or a narrow-based security index, and to exclude certain debt securities indexes from the definition of narrow-based security index.
