Bank South Corporation Announces Merger with SunTrust Bank

Bank South Corporation, a financial institution based in Atlanta, Georgia, has agreed to merge with SunTrust Bank, a subsidiary of Truist Financial Corporation, in a deal valued at approximately $11.9 billion, with the transaction expected to be completed by the end of 2023.
