FDIC to Remove OTS Regulations for State Savings Associations

The FDIC is adopting a final rule to rescind and remove certain regulations transferred from the OTS in 2011, making them applicable to State savings associations on their own terms, effectively aligning their operations with those of other FDIC-supervised institutions.
