SEC Publishes Proposed Rule to Expand Disclosure of Legal Proceedings

The Securities and Exchange Commission is seeking public comment on proposed amendments to its disclosure rules, which would require companies to disclose more types of legal proceedings, add such disclosures to certain investment company filings, and extend the reporting period for these disclosures to 10 years.
