FDIC Adopts Final Rule to Streamline Branch Application Procedures

The FDIC is adopting a final rule to simplify its branch application procedures, removing requirements related to the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 and the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, which apply to national banks and insured state member banks supervised by the OCC and the Federal Reserve System.
