U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Corrects Inventory of Native American Human Remains and Associated Funerary Objects from Lake Texoma, OK

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District, has corrected an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects from Lake Texoma, OK, published in a Notice of Inventory Completion in the Federal Register on September 24, 1997. The agency is now seeking written requests from lineal descendants or representatives of any Indian tribe or Native Hawaiian organization to transfer control of the human remains and associated funerary objects.
