FRA and Caltrans to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Salinas to San Luis Obispo Coast Corridor Upgrade

The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) and the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) are jointly preparing an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS)/Environmental Impact Report (EIR) to assess potential upgrades and improvements to the Salinas to San Luis Obispo portion of the Coast Corridor, with public input solicited on the scope of the study and participation in the process.
