Notice of Intent to Prepare Environmental Impact Statement for Light Rail Operations and Maintenance Satellite Facility in Washington

The Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the Central Puget Sound Regional Transit Authority (Sound Transit) plan to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for a new Light Rail Operations and Maintenance Satellite Facility (OMSF) in King and Snohomish Counties, Washington, to support an expanded fleet of light rail vehicles. The EIS will assess potential environmental effects and consider alternatives, including a No-Build option and five potential sites for the facility.
