FMCSA Alerts Motor Carriers of Statutory Exemptions for Agricultural Commodities and Farm Supplies

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is informing motor carriers and enforcement officials about two statutory exemptions included in the MAP-21 transportation reauthorization legislation that apply to certain motor carriers transporting agricultural commodities and farm supplies, which took effect on October 1, 2012.
