Temporary Exceptions to FIRREA Appraisal Requirements for Disaster-affected Areas

The Federal agencies are granting temporary exemptions from FIRREA appraisal requirements for real estate transactions in areas affected by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria, in Florida, Georgia, Puerto Rico, Texas, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, to facilitate recovery and ensure safety and soundness.
