Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. Granted Exemption for Vehicle Line

The US Department of Transportation has approved Volkswagen's petition to exempt the Volkswagen Eos vehicle line from the vehicle theft prevention standard, deeming an alternative antitheft device as effective in reducing theft.
