Aeronautical Accessories, Inc. Receives Airworthiness Directive for High Landing Gear Forward Crosstube Assemblies

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued an airworthiness directive requiring Aeronautical Accessories, Inc. to inspect and replace high landing gear forward crosstube assemblies on certain Agusta and Bell helicopters due to reports of failed crosstubes, in order to prevent collapse of the landing gear and loss of control of the aircraft.
