FAA Lifts Prohibition on Flights to Erbil and Sulaymaniyah Airports in Iraq
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has lifted a prohibition on certain flights within Iraq's territory and airspace, allowing U.S. airlines to operate flights to Erbil and Sulaymaniyah International Airports. The decision comes after the FAA determined that a full flight ban is no longer necessary for these airports, paving the way for flights to resume with certain safety measures in place.
