NHTSA Receives Petition for Importation of Nonconforming BMW M3 Cars

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has accepted a petition from BMW to allow the importation of nonconforming 2006-2010 BMW M3 passenger cars into the US, as they are substantially similar to US-certified models and can be easily modified to meet safety standards.
