Oregon and Washington Pear Growers to Face Increased Assessment Rate for Fresh Pears

The Fresh Pear Committee proposes to modify the assessment rate for fresh pears grown in Oregon and Washington, increasing it from $0.366 to $0.449 per standard box for summer/fall pears and decreasing it from $0.471 to $0.449 per standard box for winter pears, effective for the 2012-2013 fiscal period and beyond.
