Supplemental Final Environmental Impact Statement for Healy Power Generation Unit #2, Healy, AK

The Rural Utilities Service (RUS) plans to update the Department of Energy's (DOE) 1993 Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the Healy Clean Coal Project, which was partially funded by the DOE in cooperation with the Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority (AIDEA). The update aims to reflect the recent construction of Healy Unit 2, a 50 MW coal-fired steam generator, which has been in warm layup since late 1999.
