FERC Approves Automatic Underfrequency Load Shedding and Load Shedding Plans Reliability Standards

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has approved the Reliability Standards PRC-006-1 and EOP-003-2, developed by the North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), to ensure the reliability of automatic underfrequency load shedding programs and load shedding plans in the US power grid.
