UNESCO Receives Request from Libya to Prevent Illicit Cultural Property Transfer

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) has received a request from Libya under Article 9 of the 1970 UNESCO Convention, aimed at preventing the illicit import, export, and transfer of ownership of cultural property.
